Ali is smart, assertive, and deeply committed to improving outcomes for all our students, particularly students of color. Ali, a product of our schools, will add a perspective and voice to the Board that is uniquely valuable. Ali is also kind and thoughtful, has a sophisticated understanding of a Board member’s role, and will be able to work effectively with our superintendent and other Board members.
